Our Story
In 1972, an eccentric dreamer set out to build a Tudor/Castle-inspired home in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, and by 1979 the original dream was complete. After his passing, in 1999 another creative mind took the torch with a vision to expand that dream, developing the property as a recording studio destination, furthering its reputation as a gem of artistic passion.
Today, The Castle House is a property brimming with inspiration, serving as a captivating wedding venue, recording studio retreat, and staycation rentals.
Nestled in picturesque environment, the various accommodations present unique design and architecture in an English Tudor/Stone Castle hybrid style situated around an inviting oak grove and giant fir trees, surrounded by open fields with sunrise and sunset views.
We specialize in creating customized wedding and record production retreat packages, ensuring your experience is unique and memorable. From intimate gatherings to grand affairs, this one-of-a-kind venue is truly a special place!
The Castle House was recently chosen and featured as one of seven Oregon properties for the Emmy award winning show Staycation and their new franchise “Staycation Sports”.

Our Team
Dusti Ker is a wife, mom, and proud Mimi. With a servant’s heart and over 20 years of experience, she brings her calm, organized, and faith-filled presence to every wedding, taking care of the behind-the-scenes details.
Dusti also runs a gluten-free cottage bakery catering to weddings and events, and enjoys spending her free time with loved ones.

“Being able to share the magic and charm of The Castle House with our guests is truly special to me—I love bringing the story to life.
I've had a deep appreciation for this property since I was a little girl having had the privilege of being born and raised here. Some of my best memories are on this land from raising chickens, pigs, alpacas, and horses, to riding around on quads, playing in the creek, picking wildflowers, and watching sunsets.
God has blessed me with a passion for creating things, and marketing is one of the ways I get to express this creativity."

Founder
Carrying the torch of the original designer from 1972, Nate took over The Castle House in 1999 with a vision to develop as a recording studio retreat. Here he raised his three daughters and shared this truly special property with friends and family and guests for over two decades as it expanded to several properties known as “Kingdom Village”.
Through the years there have been many weddings and events here, and in 2025 requests were officially opened to the public with an emphasis on providing a unique sacred space for holy matrimony, music writing/production, and fellowship.
Nate is an entrepreneur, recording artist/writer/producer, who brings his visionary creative gifts to everything he does. His relentless pursuit of Truth has been the primary focus and motivation of his life. Nate is currently finalizing his first book, presenting his life work and proposed discovery of “the most fundamental pattern at every level of the known universe” which he believes confirms what he calls the “Romans 1:20 Hypothesis”.
